If you have not voted via mail please get out and VOTE today.

I enjoy reading the family interest on Prop 8 but I am still supporting NO on Prop 8. Also the family members who are supporting YES on Prop 8 should recognize themselves. We all have the right to vote the way we please, but I don't think anyone should be discriminated on their choice of who they marry.

Also National City voters please VOTE no Prop "M".

Everybody get out and vote tomorrow, and make sure your decisions are informed and pragmatic.

Yes, the marriage issue is a contentious one, but its passage would have repercussions that reach farther than protecting a flawed institution that has required repair long before the gays started trying to get their hands in the mix. As a family of brown people, we should attempt to see the forest for the trees, and realize that we cannot afford to take a step backwards and draw divisive lines in the sand that serve only to discriminate against others. The role of the government is to redress the inequities of the people as viewed through the common thread of their humanity, not to dictate and enforce naive religious morality that has no specified place in our Constitution. This is a very subversive measure that's attempting to confuse people by satiating their fears, and blurring the distinction between these two things. Either way, the sky will not fall if people are provided equal privileges. It would only prove that government is finally working the way it was originally intended.

Passing Proposition 8 protects our children and places into the Constitution the simple definition that a marriage is between a man and a woman.

I am recommending that you vote for Alejandra Sotelo Solis for National City Council she is 29 years old and has lived in NC for 29 years and is very active in NC. Also NC needs your suppport to vote No on Prop M. I disagree with the family member who is requesting Yes on Prop 8 the prop is discriminating, but everyone has the right to vote they want.

No matter how you vote make sure you get out and VOTE tomorrow.

CONGRATULATIONS to Patrick Jarin for receiving the student athlete/scholar of the week for San Diego County. What an honor we are all very proud of you.

This morning on the KUSI Alarm Clock Pep rally Kearny High covered the Eastlake logo on the roving high school helmet......I would complain to KUSI, Patrick was the one who placed the Eastlake logo on the helmet.
